Story behind the product ~ Authentic mudcloth from Mali, Africa, is a handmade Malian cotton fabric traditionally dyed with fermented mud. It has an important place in traditional Malian culture and has, more recently, become a symbol of Malian cultural identity. Mudcloth is exported worldwide for use in fashion, fine art and decoration.
These lovely Indigo Mudcloth Wall Hangings have a wooden end for stability and a small brass hook on the back for easy hanging. Design is selected at random as they are all hand made and each one differs from one to the next.
