Authentic Malawi Range

Meticulously hand woven using rattan and held together with knots, each product in our Malawi Range is an individual work of art with no two being the same.

The Tiliaceae shrub is used as jute for the weaving of the Malawi products. The shrub grows in the summer months and the long roots are harvested, coiled and dried. In the winter months there is no material available to weave these pieces, therefore weaving is limited to about 8 months of the year.

Traditional and timeless in style and design, the pieces in our Malawi range are rich in texture and exude organic beauty.

All dimensions may vary slightly from the sizing listed, this is due to the hand made nature of the products.
