Kuba Cloth Length ~ Design Two
Story behind the product ~ This stunning original Kuba cloth, is a rough textured fabric made by the Ngeende branch of the Kuba people who are native to the Congo. Made from raffia palm fibre, using traditional patchwork applique, embroidery and natural plant dyes. Traditionally the original cloth is worn as ceremonial skirts, today they have been made into cushions and remain collectable pieces of African textile.
No two are ever the same. This is a one-off art piece.

Each panel has been intricately created by hand. If there are small flaws it is a sign and proof of human touch, making each and every piece unique with tiny little differences.
